About Terex Demag: A Brief History of the Brand
Terex Demag has one of the longest lineages in heavy lifting. The Demag name traces back to 1819 in Germany and became Mannesmann Demag in 1973. In 2002, Terex Corporation acquired the mobile crane division, creating the Terex Demag brand operators still recognize today on AC (All-Terrain), CC (Crawler Crane), TC (Truck Crane), and HC (lattice-boom) models. The combined Terex Cranes business was later acquired by Tadano in 2019, which means the Terex Demag name no longer appears on new builds — but tens of thousands of these cranes remain in active service worldwide, and their parts demand has not gone away.
That is the gap we fill. Whether the unit on your yard carries a Demag-era nameplate, a Terex Demag nameplate, or sits in a fleet that pre-dates the Tadano acquisition, we source and supply the parts that keep it lifting.
Terex Demag Model Families We Support
We carry parts across all four major Terex Demag families. Each family covers dozens of model variants — below are the highest-volume examples in our catalog. Terex Demag cranes work across every demanding sector — road and bridge construction, ports and shipyards, mining, wind energy, oil and gas, and general industrial lifting — and we supply parts regardless of how or where your crane is deployed.
Terex Demag AC Series (All-Terrain Cranes)
The AC series is the largest family in our Terex Demag catalog, covering compact city cranes through the heaviest all-terrain machines. All-terrain cranes are built to travel on public roads at highway speed and then work off-road on site. Strong availability for models including the AC50-1, AC100, AC120, AC265, AC300, AC335, AC350, AC395, AC435, AC500-1, AC615, AC650, AC665, AC1200, AC1300, and AC1600. Several of these models have over 7,000 individual part references in our system.
Terex Demag CC Series (Crawler Cranes)
The CC series covers heavy crawler cranes built for sustained heavy lifting. Crawler cranes run on tracks and are designed to stay on a site for the duration of a project. Strong availability for the CC2600 and CC2800, two of the most widely deployed crawler models in our catalog.
Terex Demag TC Series (Truck Cranes)
The TC series covers truck-mounted lattice and telescopic cranes, which combine highway mobility with heavy lifting capacity on arrival. Strong availability for the TC2800 and TC3200, with parts covering booms, slewing systems, hydraulics, and powertrain components.
Terex Demag HC Series (Lattice-Boom Crawlers)
The HC series — Demag’s classic lattice-boom crawlers — remains in service on long-life industrial sites around the world. We hold parts for a range of HC models, with availability checked per request given the age of much of this fleet.
Our Most-Requested Terex Demag Models

AC300 (9,500+ parts), AC615 (8,800+), AC435 (8,400+), AC265 (8,000+), AC1600 (7,500+), AC395 (7,400+), AC100 (7,100+), AC1200 (7,000+), AC1300 (6,800+), TC2800 (6,800+), AC50-1 (6,600+), AC120 (6,600+), AC500-1 (6,600+), AC335 (6,300+), AC665 (6,100+), AC350 (6,000+), CC2600 (6,000+), AC650 (6,000+), CC2800 (5,900+), and TC3200 (5,900+).
If your crane is not on this list, ask anyway. We hold parts for more than two hundred Terex Demag models in total.
Terex Demag Parts by Category
Within the Terex Demag catalog, the following categories are most often requested. Counts shown are the number of distinct part references we list for Terex Demag in that category.
Slewing rings — More than 1,200 Terex Demag slewing ring references, covering the rotation systems on AC, CC, TC, and HC models. The slewing ring is one of the most safety-critical components on any crane, and one of the parts where original quality matters most.
Seals and seal kits — Over 6,200 Terex Demag seal and seal-kit references for hydraulic cylinders, slewing systems, axles, and outrigger components. Often ordered alongside slewing rings or as part of planned maintenance.
Lifting equipment — Over 2,100 Terex Demag lifting-equipment references, including hook blocks, sheaves, ropes-related components, and load-handling parts.
Brake parts — Over 400 Terex Demag brake references, covering service brakes, parking brakes, and slew brakes across the AC and TC series.
Maintenance parts — Nearly 3,000 Terex Demag maintenance-part references for scheduled servicing — wear items, gaskets, fasteners, and consumables.
Axle parts — Over 8,200 Terex Demag axle references, the largest single category by volume given the multi-axle configurations on the heavy AC series.
Drive line — Over 7,400 Terex Demag drive-line references for transmissions, drive shafts, differentials, and related powertrain components.
Engine parts — Over 2,300 Terex Demag engine references across the Mercedes-Benz, MTU, and Cummins engines typically fitted to these cranes.
Filters — Nearly 1,200 Terex Demag filter references covering hydraulic, fuel, oil, air, and cabin filtration across the full range.
Electrical components — Available on request. We hold a smaller selection in this category; some items are sourced project-by-project.
How to Identify Your Terex Demag Part
Getting the right part the first time depends on accurate identification. For Terex Demag cranes, three pieces of information together are usually enough:
The crane model and serial number. The nameplate is typically mounted on the cab door frame or near the operator’s seat. Older Demag-era cranes may carry only the Demag logo; Terex-era cranes carry the Terex Demag branding. The serial number, sometimes called the Fabrik-Nummer or FIN, is the most reliable identifier and helps us match the correct production batch.
The original part number. Terex Demag uses a structured numbering system — older Demag-era parts often carry an eight-digit number, while Terex-era parts use a longer format. The number is usually stamped, etched, or printed on the part itself, on its packaging, or in the original spare-parts manual. If you have only a partial number, send what you have and we will work with it.
A photo, if you have one. For wear items, seals, and visually distinct components, a clear photo often speeds things up significantly — especially when the original number has worn off.
If you have none of the above, tell us the model and describe what failed. We can usually narrow it down from there.
Original, OEM, OEM-Equivalent, and Aftermarket — What Fits When
Not every part needs to be original-brand, and not every part should be aftermarket. The right choice depends on the role the part plays on your crane. Here is how we think about it, in plain terms — and we can supply across all four options.
Original and OEM parts are made by, or licensed by, the original crane manufacturer or its appointed supplier. They carry the original part number and are produced to the manufacturer’s specification. This is the right choice for safety-critical and warranty-sensitive components: slewing rings, structural elements, electronic control units, and anything the operator’s manual specifically calls out as original-only.
OEM-equivalent parts are made by the same suppliers that manufacture for the OEM, but sold outside the manufacturer’s branded channel. They meet the same engineering specification — often produced on the same line — but cost less because there is no OEM markup. For most hydraulic components, filters, seals, bearings, and powertrain wear items, OEM-equivalent offers genuine value without compromising quality.
Aftermarket parts are produced independently to fit the original specification. Quality varies widely between aftermarket suppliers, so the source matters more than the label. Aftermarket can be the right choice for non-safety-critical wear items, cosmetic parts, and consumables where original-brand pricing is hard to justify.
Tell us the part you need and how the crane is used. We will recommend original, OEM, OEM-equivalent, or aftermarket based on what genuinely fits your situation — not what carries the highest margin for us.
Why Operators Choose Us for Terex Demag Parts
We have specialized in mobile crane parts since 2012, and Terex Demag is the largest brand in our catalog. That focus shows up in three ways operators tell us matter most.
Depth of inventory. Over 100,000 individual Terex Demag part references across 200+ models means we can usually quote the part you need — including for older AC, CC, and HC machines that other suppliers no longer cover.
A real address, real people. We operate from Zeelandhaven 3C in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands. You are welcome to visit our facility, meet the team, and inspect parts before they ship. If a visit is not practical, we travel to customers worldwide on request.
Trade references on request. Sourcing crane parts across borders involves real risk for the buyer, and we know that decision rarely comes down to price alone. What it usually comes down to is whether the supplier on the other end of the email is who they say they are. We have been supplying mobile crane operators, fleet managers, and rental businesses since 2012, and several of those customers are happy to speak about working with us. Ask for references when you request a quote, and we will share them.
Where We Ship
We ship Terex Demag parts to operators in more than 150 countries. Our customer base is concentrated in the Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia, and Oceania — regions where mobile-crane fleets are large, working conditions are demanding, and reliable parts supply is critical to uptime. Shipping options, lead times, and documentation are confirmed with each quote.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply parts for older Demag-era cranes, not just Terex Demag?
Yes. We supply parts for cranes carrying the original Demag branding as well as later Terex Demag machines. Many parts are interchangeable across these generations, and we have served operators with Demag-era equipment since we started in 2012. Send us your model and serial number, and we’ll confirm availability.
Terex Cranes was acquired by Tadano in 2019. Can you still supply Terex Demag parts?
Yes. The 2019 Tadano acquisition affected new crane production and branding, but the Terex Demag cranes already in service remained in operation worldwide. We continue to source parts for these machines through our supplier network, independent of the brand transition. Availability is unchanged.
What is the difference between Terex Demag AC, CC, and TC cranes?
AC stands for All-Terrain — wheeled mobile cranes designed for on-road and on-site use. CC stands for Crawler Crane — tracked cranes for heavy lifting on prepared sites. TC stands for Truck Crane — telescopic or lattice booms mounted on a truck chassis. We carry parts for all three.
How do I find my Terex Demag part number?
The original part number is typically stamped on the part itself, printed on its packaging, or listed in the spare-parts manual that came with your crane. Look on the nameplate first, then on the component. If the number has worn off, send a photo and your crane model — we can usually identify it.
Do you supply original and OEM parts, or only aftermarket?
We supply all four: original, OEM, OEM-equivalent, and quality aftermarket parts. We recommend the right option based on the role of the part — safety-critical components are typically original or OEM, while wear items and consumables often work well as OEM-equivalent. We are transparent about which is which on every quote.
Where are you based, and can I visit?
We are based at Zeelandhaven 3C, 3433 PL Nieuwegein, in the Netherlands. Operators and fleet managers are welcome to visit our facility, meet the team, and inspect parts in person. If you cannot travel to us, we are equally willing to travel to you. Request a visit through the contact form.
Do you offer expedited shipping for breakdowns?
Where the part is in stock and the destination allows it, yes — we can ship expedited and prioritize the paperwork. We will not promise lead times we cannot meet, so expedited options, realistic delivery windows, and shipping costs are confirmed honestly with each quote rather than quoted upfront. Tell us when the crane needs to be back in service.
